Chestertons is a brand we value and trust, which is why I was disappointed by my recent experience with one of your property advisors, Mr. Jose Rommel Romelz. Unfortunately, I found his approach to be unprofessional and not aligned with the level of service I would expect from your organization. In particular, he appeared unwilling to arrange client viewings and instead insisted on obtaining confidential information prior to any property visit. While I understand that in certain situations—such as specific mall properties—some preliminary information may be required, his blanket insistence on extensive confidential details before facilitating a viewing seemed unnecessary and inconsistent with common market practice. This experience left me concerned about the level of client handling and communication. I believe additional training in client engagement and professional standards may be beneficial to ensure that future interactions better reflect the reputation of the Chestertons brand. I trust that you will review this matter and take appropriate steps to address the concern.

Unfortunately, this was a very disappointing experience. The communication initially seemed professional, and I was assured support throughout the process. I attended the viewing as agreed, shared my requirements clearly, and proceeded in good faith. However, over several days, terms kept changing — especially regarding the agency fee — which was initially agreed and later suddenly increased. This was communicated very late in the process, after extensive back-and-forth and reassurance that things were progressing. Despite confirming my readiness to proceed and move in immediately, the property was eventually given to another tenant who offered a higher rent, after I had already invested significant time and effort. Overall, the experience lacked transparency and consistency, and it placed me in a very stressful position as a tenant needing to move urgently. I would recommend clearer communication and more honesty upfront to avoid wasting clients’ time.

The agent was not ready to listen properly during the call and kept interrupting instead of understanding my concerns. There was a clear lack of communication, patience, and basic customer service etiquette.
