The apartment and the view were honestly really nice, but the cleanliness completely ruined the experience. We found cockroaches twice during our stay, and one of them was inside the couch bed area. The blankets also smelled bad and didn’t feel clean. We reported the issue, and housekeeping even came and removed the cockroach themselves. Later on, we were told that the apartment had been fully inspected and cleaned before arrival, which honestly made no sense considering the condition we experienced. We also explained that the space under the couch is part of the couch bed and should be cleaned properly too, but after that they simply stopped replying. We weren’t trying to complain for no reason, we just expected a clean apartment and better handling of the situation.

I rarely ever leave negative reviews, but my experience with Prive Hospitality Vacation Homes was so disappointing that I feel compelled to share it. In December 2025, I booked an apartment in Arjan for my parents who were visiting from overseas. The property was reserved almost a month in advance and was specifically chosen because of its proximity to my home. However, less than 24 hours before check-in, I was casually informed that the apartment was no longer available. Instead of offering alternatives or attempting to accommodate my original booking requirements, I was simply given another apartment and left with no real choice but to accept it due to the peak holiday season. Unfortunately, the issues did not end there. During check-in, I repeatedly asked for clarification regarding the security deposit process but received vague and inconsistent responses. The following day, my parents left the apartment and, upon returning, discovered they had been locked out. When I contacted the team, I was informed that access had been denied because the deposit had not been settled. This was both shocking and unacceptable, particularly given that I had actively sought clarification on the deposit requirements beforehand. What made the situation even worse was the complete lack of empathy or accountability. Despite knowing that elderly guests were staying in the apartment and despite my repeated reminders that I wanted their experience to be smooth and comfortable, no one from the team reached out to apologize or check on their wellbeing after they were left stranded outside the property. Following check-out, my parents handed the apartment back in excellent condition. We had even arranged for professional cleaning before departure. Yet, over a week later, I received a message stating that AED 50 would be deducted from my deposit due to alleged curtain damage. This claim was completely unfounded. When I requested further clarification and attempted to discuss the matter, my messages were largely ignored, and nobody had the courtesy to call or properly address my concerns. What surprises me most is not that mistakes happened, mistakes can occur in any business, but the complete absence of customer service, communication, and accountability throughout the entire experience. For a company operating holiday homes, these should be the most basic standards. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Prive Hospitality Vacation Homes and will certainly never book with them again. If you value clear communication, professionalism, and guest support, I would strongly advise looking elsewhere.

Dear Darshana, we're sorry your parents' stay didn't go as smoothly as planned. The change of apartment was due to circumstances beyond our control, and a comparable alternative was arranged during peak season; the deposit requirement we applied at check-in is standard policy communicated for all bookings. We regret any inconvenience caused and would be glad to discuss this further — please reach out to our team at hello@theprive.ae. — The Prive Hospitality Team

Perfect at payments. Terrible at service. Avoid booked with this company ! I booked a holiday home apartment in Creek Harbour for my family visiting me, and I strongly advise everyone to avoid this company. They are extremely quick and responsive when it comes to booking and taking payments, but the moment something goes wrong, they completely disappear. The apartment was not properly cleaned. There was a full bag of dirty clothes left inside the closet (absolutely disgusting) and hair all over the bathroom, which nobody bothered to clean. When we reported these issues, nobody replied or took responsibility. The worst part was the horrible smell 😷coming from the bathroom air-conditioner. It was so bad it smelled like a dead animal. We messaged the company every single day, but nothing was done. They eventually stopped replying altogether. If you are planning a holiday in Dubai, save yourself the stress and do NOT book with this company. Poor service, zero after-care, and no respect for guests.
