They put up fake ads (illegal), make you go there without showing up themselves (illegal), and ask the security to give you access to an apartment you never asked for. Unbelievable. Thanks for wasting my time. And of course, like any other agent this one invented stories like "someone else will take it for 1 cqe if you don't" before you even got to the apartment you never wanted to see in the first place!

DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. The most unprofessional real estate agency I have ever encountered. I rented an apartment in JVC. When I was moving out, it took them 1 MONTH to refund my deposit. I was texting and calling them everyday. Everyday they have a different excuse. They say the delay is because of the landlord. But i spoke to the landlord and he said he doesn’t know why they’re taking so long. They have no knowledge of the process. When I was moving out I asked them what they need to process the deposit refund and I gave them everything they asked for. One week after I moved out, they asked for additional documents. And they say that they are only admins so how should they know what’s required for the refund. Please, please, please - avoid this company at all costs. Save your dignity. They had me begging them to refund me a 7,000 dirham deposit. And in the end they took some extra money from that amount - even though I left the apartment in spotless condition, and I even left some new furniture in the apartment for the landlord. Shameful company.

Regarding the security deposit, the AED 7,000 deposit was held by the landlord and was not held by Highline Real Estate. As the representing agency, we facilitated communication and the administrative process between the tenant and the landlord. Any deductions or refund of the deposit were ultimately subject to the landlord’s assessment and approval. We understand that delays in receiving a deposit can be frustrating. However, we do not believe it is appropriate to attribute the landlord’s actions or decisions to our company or to create a misleading impression about our role in the process.
